I have been trying to figure this out for a while and cannot come up with a solution. When a calendar appointment is sent using Outlook 2007 and the user receives it in Outlook 2000, the message goes to the inbox of the end user end opens up with a bunch of gibberish text in it with no option to "Accept" or "Decline"?

Thanks,
Mike

Try

Tools > Options
Preferences tab
Calendar Options
at the bottom, untick the option about using iCalendar

-Why use a big word when a diminutive one will do?-

In Tools > Options
Preferences tab
Calendar Options there is only an option about sending calendar items using iCalendar nothing about receiving and it was already unchecked... Thanks for trying though.

I meant for you to do it on the machines with Outlook 2007.

Did you look there to see if it was checked?

Oh, I misunderstood. I will try.

Thanks,
