Outlook 2000 & plain text

hi

how to force Outlook 2000 to send plain text only mails?
every mail i send goes as multipart/alternative
i have tried i think every possible settings of outlook but without success
is there some hidden setting that converts all mails from plain text to multipart?
or what could be causing this?

outlook - tools - options - send - mail sending format : plain text - ok

thanx for the response, but that was the first thing i set
there must be some other thing which prevents me sending in plain text
