Outlook 02 Password Box

I have a strange issue with one user he runs XP with office XP. Everytime he opens his outlook he is prompt to put a password in. He logs in fine to the domain but when he goes to his e-mail there is the box. Hes connecting to exchange 2000. I been scratching my head on this one for 2 days now and I cant make it to go away. Please help. Thanks

That problem just pop up, or something happened in the mean time?
I think we have to check if somethink was wrong with his profile, probably the Outlook try to load a local profile.

In the exchange email account in Outlook, make sure the 'Logon network security' is set to 'Password Authentication'.

(Options, Mail Setup, Email Accounts, View or change existing account, Microsoft Exchange Server, change, more settings, Advanced...)
