I have found the same thing. I can only get the gwise working with Outlook 2000 and not Outlook 2002.
Outlook 2002 and above must use different message APIs is all I can figure.
I'll let you know if I find anything else out. I couldn't find anything on Novell's web site.

Did anyone find any answers on this? I've searched all over with no luck.
I can send/receive w/outlook 2003, but can't view my GW addressbook (even tho I have all of the GW options chosen in my mail profile).
Also, when I start a new message, it seems to auto-fill from my Freq Cont's, but not from other add books.
