I have a loop configured on CEQU that we no longer need and would like to deleted. What LD do I need to go into to make this happen since LD 17 will only allow me to make changes to the CEQU.

Thank you

Alais,

Clean up is a great thing to do!!

I could not be sure if you took care of these other items or not so I included all the steps.

Your loop should be disabled & the D-channel disabled also if there is one.
Also be sure that your clock prime or secondary source are not assigned to the loop you are outing.
In LD 60 you can type “SSCK 0” to see your clocks.

Before outing the loop you must delete any trunks assigned to the loop.

Code:
>[b]LD 14[/b]
REQ: [b]out 24[/b] (or 23 if there was a D-channel)
TYPE: [b]tie[/b] (or whatever type they are DID,COT, ect.)
TN: [b]25 1[/b] <-- First TN
REQ:

Next if these trunks had their own route you should out the route. If there are additional members in the route then skip this one.

Code:
>[b]LD 16[/b]
REQ:[b] out[/b]
TYPE:[b] RDB[/b]
DMOD: <-- press return by this one
ROUTE: [b]25[/b] <-- Enter route number
REQ:

If there is a D-channel associated with this loop you will need to out it before the loop.

Code:
>[b]LD 17[/b]
REQ: [b]chg[/b]
TYPE: [b]adan[/b]
ADAN: [b]OUT DCH 25[/b] <-- if your d-channel is 25 it looks like this
ADAN: <-- press return by this one
REQ:

Last is the digital loop itself.

Code:
>[b]LD 17[/b]
REQ: [b]CHG[/b]
TYPE: [b]CEQU[/b]
Press return till you see [b]DLOP[/b]
DLOP: [b]X25[/b] <-- X and the loop number you wish to delete
Press return till you see [b]REQ:[/b]

Hope this helps!!

Ron

Would it let you out an IPE if it had phones assigned? I did not this it would.

thanks for the reply Ron... I removed the loop this morning with out any issues..

your right, it will not allow removing a loop, ipe or pri without removing the sets.. thank goodness
