I can not find a description for the trunk group parameter "outgoing seizure response(sec)" in the documentation I have. When I created this CAS trunk it defaulted to a value of 5. This is a 2-way CAAS trunk and I am trouble shooting a potential glare condition. I have this trunk group set to "back-off" but not sure if it really is or is backinf off to slow. I was hoping to get an idea of what this timer is before I start changing it.

Enter the maximum interval that the switch should wait after
sending a seizure signal to receive seizure acknowledgment
from the far-end.
If the acknowledgment is not received in this time, a seizure failure response is uplinked.

hope that this short description will help you
