Is anyone familiar with the specification or standard Nortel is using to provide ONN (Outgoing Name and Number) over PRI?
Apparently this is not defined in the Q.931 specification.

I'm sorry I'm not familiar with it. Is this being used outside the US? In the US, 'name' is not sent out from CPE. I have read about people changing OLI to specific number to be sent.

Avaya also can be programmed to send 'name' as an additional information element in the ISDN setup messagin, however, this name display only shows up on other Avaya branded equipment assuming that the SS7 network in between them does not strip the additional fields.

What was the conclusion to your question? Did you find the answer and if so, I am interested in knowing as well.

Thanks!

traba best I could come up with was that this is a subset of Q.931 defined in Bellcore GR?1367?CORE
