Outgoing Name and Number blocking

Hi All,

I need some help restricting the outgoing Caller ID information on a Norstar MICS NA 6.1 with two PRI circuits and apprx. 80 stations.

Our customer needs permanent, system-wide name and number blocking for all calls made from all stations on the system so that their company's identity will not be shown to any outside party through Caller ID.

(I know, ...after all that work over the past 30 or 40 years to get CallerID to work so well...)

I cannot find any reference in any of the programming manuals except for ONN (Outgoing Name and Number Blocking) which ONLY works on a call-by-call basis.

How can we program the above-mentioned permanent, system-wide "fix?"

Have Telco restrict it that would take care of all outbound calls made on the PRI.

I have had the telco do that in the past when i was in a situation like this.

Or, and I doubt you'll want to do this, you could put a bogus # under EVERY telephone in the OLI entry. Must be 10 digits.
