Is there anywhere in the CPilot administrative programming where you can set the outgoing, to sets, volume for messages, prompts, etc.

I am new to the CPilot interface and the system is not even properly installed yet but there is an administrative section similar to Mermail where you have the set call a phone so you can record. On that screen on the far right there is a volume slider with a speaker icon. That slider is at zero and cannot be changed.

We are still not getting anything out of the Call Pilot. Using a digital set.

reload the lang files.. go through the install wizard, that was a common problem with some rls's.. install worked perfect except access would not give you voice.. reinstalling lang was the known cure at the time

Thanks, but so far I am on my second CP, several lanugage reinstalls, even foreign. The only things left that have not been swapped is the original install CD, MGATE cards, and DS32 cabling.
All of that is going to be swapped next.

try the mgate in another slot or even another group if an 81C, of course since they are acd, you have to out and rebuild, also do you have the 2-out cable from the mgate to the cp server, are the connections correct??

We have even set up both of the CPilots on a stand alone op 11 with matching software levels and patches.
Currently moving all of the ACDs while waiting for a new mgate card.

Check to make sure that the MGATE card is for Callpilot and not for Mermail....I think 18AA was Mermail

triton101,
I have a Mermail. This is the first I have heard about different MGATE cards. Can you tell me any more?

also make sure when you built out your agents in the cp server that you didn't skipped the 1st port and built out 1 side first before going on to the next.

we had this problem when 1 of our techs decided to build out 12 channels on side 0 and 12 channels on side 1. everything was working except no sounds. outed the channels on side 1 and added them to 0 and all was working again....14hrs later.

djwht,

I don't follow tehe side 1 and side 0.

Can you simplify it for me?

MGATE card NTRB18AA was for MERMAIL 11 EC option (a EC mermail in an option 11 chasis by itself)

The Book on the EC 11 mermail is 555-7081-250

I think for Callpilot you need CA vintage or later...but double check the install guide.

the side 0/1 i was refering to is acutally the sti link, wherer you define the tn key0/1 of the virtual agents.

its actually STI01-001-001 for the first agent all the way thru -032 and the same for STI02-xxx-xxx

basically build out all your agents on the board before going over to the second board if you have less than 32 agents.

The tech has them split. Says Nortel demands they be done that way. I will let you know.

First, thank you to everyone that offered help.

The problem that took a month, two CPilot systems, endless hours of OT and frustration ended up being the fault of Nortel documentation and Nortel engineers.
The documentation on the installation was wrong and the system would never have worked. One of my Vendor's techs finally said I wonder what happens if we........ and it worked.
Out of at least six Nortel engineers none of them found the problem and several of the techs had us verify that it was installed per the documentation later proved wrong.

I won't use that language here, but )(&)&$ _)$#^$ you too, Nortel support!

Just out of curiosity, what was the "...." that solved the problem? Might help the rest of us who have to install these things in the future?
