Hi All,
I have an issue with calls not showing the users CLI when dialling out over ISDN. I have used the .s and .S and various number lengths after that to send the DDI, I have tried it as a user shortcode and system shortcode and sending the call through ARS. It will only ever show either the main bearer number or withheld if I change the shortcode to .W. The line provider has tested the lines as is positive that they are not blocking this. I have ran monitor trace and it appears from that I am sending the CLI to line. Any ideas please?

Then send the log to the provider and tell them that they are blocking the CLI.

Thank you Okkie26. I have done this, but they are telling me that they are not seeing it and are not blocking it. Any other ideas please?

how have you formated your shortcode?

try use .Si<number> instead of .S<number>

this flags to the local exchange that you are sending a full national format number.

Did they tell you what exactly they see? I think there have been some issues in a few 9.0 releases with outbound number presentation.

Thank you. I will try the Si suggestion and let you know. I think it is a software issue but Avaya are saying it isn't? Thanks again

You should use monitor and enable ISDN filter, then dial in from your cell phone and look what format the provider presents as DDI number, use the same as format for out going.
Are you sure you route the outgoing calls through the shortcode you create? Again use monitor and enable shotrcodes in the call filter, dial out and see if there is anything send on the ISDN line and which shortcode is actually used to dial out.

Thank you all for your replies. I had tried the monitor and sent the same 6 digits back out but that did not seem to work either. I programmed an extn with the .Si<number without the leading 0> and that works perfectly. Thank you IPGuru and everyone else for your suggestions.
