Outgoing call code for sl-1000 pbx

Hi all,

I want to program call access code (not 9 for dialing) for users when the dial out from their phone on an sl-1000.
The press 9 for dial tone and don't know where you have to put a code for them to dial out.
I know in the IPs 2000 you press 9, code, number.
Can that be done in the sl-1000 also, if so where can I set it up

Are you looking for Forced/Verified Account codes?
Forced Account Codes require an extension user to enter an Account Code every time they place a
trunk call.
With Verified Account Codes, the system compares the Account Code the user dials to a list of up to
800 pre-programmed codes.

The thing is there is one phone and 3 users, and they wanted to give each a code to dial out every.
So can it be done on the SL-1000?

It works when dialing 763 then code an then the system lets me dial out
But when i press 9 and number it can still dial out.
How can i stop it?

If you do not need to dial 9 to get out, unassign it in 11-01.

Saw that it is disabled in 11-09.
But if I disable the 9, won't I just call directly without the 9.
Because even with the walking toll restriction, if I press 9 and number it will call out.

So the 9 can override the walking toll restriction?

9 is used to access an outside line to make calls. If you disable it, then you will have to press a line key with an outside trunk under it to dial out, or set the phones up for outside line when going off hook. It is also used to dial using speed dials, and for call forward outside. It is not advisable to remove it from the system since so many features require it for operation.
Read through the features and specification manual. It will list the feature and any co-dependants as well as limitations and operation. You will get a better understanding of what your system can and cannot do with a little research.
