Can outcalling be set up to do the following:
Call number 1, then after 5 minutes call number 2 if the party at number 1 has not called in for the message. What experiences have you had with outcalling?

NO it cannot Out calling automatically calls the next number on the escallation list with no delay, can't be changed.

Yes it can.

You have in your vm client administration/preferences/general/outcalling. In here you specify how long in between each destination attempt and also how mant times to retry each destination.

Trust me, I know all about thos problem. Caused me big trouble. Help is on the way this will be changed in a future release

Ron,
I have tried to use the feature and as you say it has problems. Any time line on the fix? Does the fix allow a true escalation list instead of the current method that acts more like a broadcast phone call?

First of The GA release of VM Pro has a bug that continues to call the next entry on the escalation list even though the message has been check. You have to go to 15.1 to fix it. Some other on the site might know if .18 (the maint. release) fixes it but I haven't had a customer who need outcalling on 4.0.7 yet so I don't know.

To answer the question, no it does not. I don't want to say too much here so I will put it this way, it will one day work as we all expect outcalling should work, with a delay between entries on the list. You might want to ask your distributor to look around for a private build to get you something closer to what you are looking for. They with have to look hard, but its there.
