Hi everyone,

I have turned on outcalling on an extension and set it up, but it is still not working. The schedule is correct and I just want it to dial a phone number, which is setup properly. Do I have to do anything more? I have also setup the Allowed Number List to the extension. Any help would be appreciated. I am using a Partner II r4.1 with Partner Mail VS r4.

Thanks,
Jeremy

you need to insert a 9 into the number to be dialed - hope this helps

do you have a pause in the string? you also need to allow outcalling for the extension in system administration - call me if you need help 518-475-3030 - john

Yep, I have Outcalling turned on and pauses where needed. I have no idea what is wrong. Do my lines have to be configured a certain way? Thanks.

do you have centrex and need to dial a 9 on all calls - if so you would need to have 2 9's in string - you could also try to add more pauses - also make sure outcalling is enabled in both the individual mailbox and in system admin - call me if you need more help

OK That did it! I did not have two 9's in the number. I never would have guessed that! Thanks a lot.

Jeremy

Make sure your vooice mail ports are NOT toll restricted or outbound restricted in any way. Good luck
