Hi there guys. This has been the bane of my existance for quite a while now and I just don'tknow what else to do. When a call is patched through from our 1X console to a long distance number it rolls out the first number in my DID range which happens to be the direct line for out big boss, needless to say this is bad. This is the only time this happens. Call from a desk phone all roll what they are supposed to, six zeros followed by the 4 digit extension. Direct dialed long distance calls from the 1X console roll out what is progrmmed it's only when someone wants to be patched through to a long distance number going through out 1X. I did a list trace and below are the results. I am at my wits end. Telco tells me that they are pushing whatever we are rolling out and my Avaya techs are telling me that it's Telco rolling out the wrong number. Can someone help?? We are using an Avaya 8500 with Communication Manager 6.0.

I dialed in from a nearby extension, like I was an outside caller to our main number and here is what the List Trace showed.......

What extension is the Console? Do you have an entry in your public numbering table for this extension?

The extension assigned to this console is 3000 (not a DID) and yes there is an entry in the Public Unknown Numbering Table for 3000. It rolls the correct CID on a call dialed directly from the console just not when a call is extended/transfered from the 1X.

Do you call the Console directly, or dial "0" as a vdn? If so, do you have 0 set up in the public numbering plan?

I called the console like it was an outside call, dialed the main line then transfered the call to a long distance number. No I don't believe 0 is set up on the Pub Ukn Numb table.

I added 0 to the Pub Unk Numb and still the same result, CID is still rolling the Boss's DID. Any other suggestions?

Can you post a similar trace for a straight outbound call from teh console?

I'd also check you tandem call table and/or modify tandem call on the trunk group

Take Care

Matt
I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

I ran a list trace on a long distance call dialed directly from the 1X console and here are the results.........

I think that's where it ends, there were other calls coming in not long after I did my test. I still have no idea what all this means

I checked the "Modify Tandem Calling Number" field in my LD trunk group and I have 3 options, it's currently set to "NO", but there are the options "Natl-intl-prefix" and "Tandem-CPN-form"
I also checked the Tandem Calling Table and it is blank. I have no idea what is supposed to be in there, if anything is supposed to be in there. HELP!!!!

Thanks again for any assistance.
