Definity 9.5 (yes, I know this is very old).
A customer of mine is trying to set up a number for a "call in sick" line. They want it to ring out to a cell phone and then come back to Audix if not answered. No problem. Set up a station with a coverage path that covers to "r1" first, and then the Audix hunt group. Set up coverage remote with 9+cell number in slot 1.
When making test calls from outside, I can see on the trace that the call comes in, but when it tries to go back out to the cell number it gets an ISDN reject code 1164.
My thought was it was getting rejected because it was using whatever outside number you call in from as the outbound CPN on the attempted call to the cell. I tried calling in through remote access to make a test call to the cell number and that still uses the cell number I'm calling in from as the outbound CPN and it gets rejected as well. I tried setting the trunk group (PRI) to not send a calling party number and it still gets rejected with no CPN. I'm having someone go onsite next week to test with me, but does anyone know how to force the Definity to use the extension number I'm using for the "sick line" (actually the whole DID number via public-unknown-numbering) as the outbound CPN instead of the external number that's making the inbound call?
