We have a Mer 61C. The CLI set in the CLID table works fine for outbound calls dialed over routes and trunks defined as DID, but does not work with routes and trunks defined as TIE. Can anyone help?

In the TIE RDB, is the prompt DAPC turn to YES?

another thing to check, look at the rcap prompt on the d channel.. n2 for names mwk for msg waiting, not sure if clid needs a entry..

DAPC is set to 'NO'. There is no entry against RCAP and I can't see any relevant input for CLI either.

Is it really so that no one has ever tried to send CLI over PRI TIE trunks and see what actually appears on the called party phone?

Johnpoole is right.
Change the RCAP prompt in DCH definition to ND2 or ND3 on the both sides !
These entries are possibles if you connect 2 Nortel PBXs together with SL1 protocol.

those entries will also work on some of the other switches, rolm, dms etc and works with cisco and qsig...FYI
