Hello all,
I have a questions that I think I should know, but have been banging my head against a wall....

It has been brought to my attention that our outbound caller ID is only displaying the phone number,, and not the company name.

I verified with my carriers that our name "Cambridge CCC" is set to be sent on outbound calls.

When I call from any station, the number shows, but no name. When I call from my station, that has a DID mapped to it, the caller ID displays both the DID, and the Company name...

I figure I must be over-riding the name somewhere,,, but cannot figure out where....

here is a copy of my public-unknown numbering...

Code:
                      NUMBERING - PUBLIC/UNKNOWN FORMAT
                                   Total Total
Ext Ext Trk CPN CPN Ext Ext Trk CPN CPN
Len Code Grp(s) Prefix Len Len Code Grp(s) Prefix Len

 4 5 2 4138218900 10
 4 5 3 4138218900 10
 4 5 99 4
 4 5835 2 4132412350 10
 4 5835 3 4132412350 10

821-8900 is our main number,,, and if any other station dials out,, that is the id that is sent,,, but no name...

If I dial out from my station, 241-2350 is sent, along with Cambridge CCC.... on both trunk groups....
that DID is carried on trunk 2, our local PRI
trunk 3 is our LD trunk,,, but the results are the same, regardless of the trunk it goes out...

Hopefully I am making sense, and someone can point me in the right direction...
Thanks

Once your outbound call enters the public network, the name associated with a given calling number must come from a database in the public network, whether it is the local CO Switch (Canada), or the carriers' AIN database (USA, theirs or their CNAM providers). I suspect your main number is not loaded with your company name in the required database. Your Local Exchange Carrier should be administering this for you.

Thank You, I will contact them again...

My provider just got back to me,,, seems they overlooked something... lol
They said they should have it fixed asap...
Thanks again.
