Hello,

Can someone tell me how I can change the outbound CLID for a specific group of phones within a call centre?

There is about 25 phones that would require a single unique CLID.

I am hoping I can do this without adding a new outbound T1.

We have a mix of PBX versions 8.4 and 9.0.

Thanks for your help
Barry

If you have ISDN outbound circuits, you can make the outbound trunk group 'num-format' to pub-unk (first page). Then on page 2 make 'send calling number' to Y.

then do a 'change isdn pub' and define the extensions and desired CLID you want call receipients to receive.

You need to call your service provider and see if they have control of what is being sent out. Our sevice provider sends our main number on all out bound calls. If yours is set up like that it wont matter what you put because the service provider will overide it.

You should be able to go to "Change ISDN public-unknown-numbering"

Narrow down the extension range to whatever you need and should look like this you can replace the whole CLID by putting all 10 digits you want to send in the CPN Prefix field

Ext Ext Trk CPN CPN
Len Code Grp(s) Prefix Len
5 42 6 54186 10
