I have an Option 61C. We just installed a new PRI. The problem is that when you make a call from any admin set, the caller ID that the end user sees is incorrect. For example call is made from extension 2813, end user sees (123)555-2813 instead of our main number. Any idea on how I can correct??

Thanks

This is assuming your phones have DID numbers. Build Table '0' for the default. Each DN has the ability to use a different table.

KEY 01 SCR 4567 8 <<<<The 8 Says use CLID Table 8

Hello all,
I have a simular problem in my switch. Option 61C Release 22.
I swung PRIs from one provider to another.
The problem I am experiencing is a little different.

When internal callers make a call outbound what shows up on the receiving end is "Unavailable" and the number. The new vender is claiming this is caused by a setting in the switch sending out "local" clid instead of "national".
Is this possible? If so how can I fix it?
Is it a ld 15 command change?

yes your not sending you area code, is your clid table and cdb both set up with area code?

I'm not sure.
How can I check?
Ld 15 doesn't have a prt option for me to check the settings.
Is there another way to check this?

you prt ld 15 commands in ld 21
you prt ld 17 commands in loasd 22

clid table does have it.
cdb doesnt appear to have a place to put it.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Hi,

How do I have Call ID show a fixed number instead of appending the calling DN to the caller ID? For example, I want entry 12 to show 7000 for all phones that are in that group. I dont want the call ID to show what extension is making the call.

Thanks

Using John Poole's example above:
HNTN 803
ESA_HLCL
ESA_INHN NO
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 434
DIDN YES
HLOC
LSC
Your entry 12 probably looks like example above - change to look like example below.

HNTN 803
ESA_HLCL
ESA_INHN NO
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 4347000
DIDN NO
HLOC
LSC

rlong411

you will need to change you CLID table to be the following (to send all 10 digits)

HNTN
ESA_HLCL
ESA_INHN NO
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 803434
DIDN YES
HLOC
LSC

Print in LD 21
Reg: PRT
type: CLID

Change in LD 15
Reg: chg
type : Net
CLID: yes
Table: enter the table number you intend to change
