Hey Guys,
I have a Mitel 3300 MX ICP with embedded T1 card set up with ISDN (PRI) NI2 protocol. We are using the NI2 protocol so that the customer can receive per number/station billing information from the Service Provider, BELL.
Here is the problem. I have a Teleworker user that will forward his set to his cell phone on a regular basis. If the set is called from within the phone system, call is forwarded to the cell no problem. External call comes in that originates on the Bell network, call is forwarded to the cell no problem. External call originates from somewhere off the Bell network and the call will fail. Take call forwarding off will result in all calls being answered successfully at the set (or VM). By the way, the same problem exists for non-Teleworker sets, but no one is forwarding externally.
Troubleshooting with CO side of Bell showed that any External call that was forwarded by the set was tagged with the originating Calling Party #, not the Main number for the customer or the DID of the set (I do have CPN subsitution enabled for that set and every other set to assist with the per station billing info on LD calls). So what is happening is that the Bell switch equipment is seeing a calling party number that does not belong to Bell so the call is rejected and cannot proceed.
Does anyone know how to get the 3300 to not pass on the original calling party # and have only the CPN subsituted number or main billing number be tagged on the forwarded call?
I find it quite funny that the opposite problem exists with the 200 ICPs.

My Biggest problem is that I almost always believe what I tell myself.
