How can I view my settings for outbound caller ID?

I have multiple sites using option 11c PBX units, and I use an option 61c in our headquarters. We use 5 digit dialing across the network to connect to each other. At our HDQ, an example DID would be 404-443-2113 or extension 32113 internally. At a remote site, an example DID would be 901-556-1333 or extension 61333 internally.

However, when the person at extension 61333 calls someone externally, they report that the receiver of the call shows "404-446-2133" when it should be "901-556-1333" instead. The problem is that when his call recipient tried to return his call, he got a totally different company...one that has a phone at 404-446-2133.

I am thinking that I need to go to LD 15 and change the CLID_DATA accordingly. I am not sure exactly how to do that, so I need help with the commands to do so. Also, I want to see the data before I change it to make sure I am on the right track.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

You can change your CLID settings, but from what you describe, the 404xxxxxx is being sent out by your carrier. You have to get the carrier to allow you to send your CLID that you define in 15. you can print the clid tables to see what is programmed there as well.

Depending on your software Rls...try this.

This will tell you everything you want to know about your CLID output.
