Outbound Caller ID for a DID Forwarded Call 1

Good-day,

I'm responsible for managing an Electra Elite IPK II PBX system and I'm forwarding a single DID to a cell phone. Currently the Caller ID being presented to cell phone is that which is set by my carrier. I already have a call into them (waiting on a response), but was wondering if it's possible to make this change on the Electra Elite IPK II so that the cell phone sees the Caller ID of the caller, not my PBX?

If you have PRI, then look at 22-13, CID by extension.

Thanks, however, 22-13 for me is "DID Trunk Group to Translation Table Assignment". I don't see CID by extension.

Aaah, thanks. Not exactly what I'm looking for, but at least now I know how to set caller id per extension - thanks. Still looking for how to make the caller ID pass-thru for forwarded calls.

Do you have an option 14-01-24 for each trunk?

Keep in mind that some carriers won't allow this.

Hmmm, thanks....that holds some promise. I'll liaise with my provider in the morning and get them to disable the BTN override on their end so I can test. Will report back my findings.

My issue is now resolved. Thanks, 14-01-24 did the trick. Had to call my provider and have them disable the BTN override on their end for it to work.
