I have a Mitel 3300 system, with 5330e and 5340e phones.

I would like to set things up so that when my users make calls, the people they call see different names in the call display, depending on which phone is making the call. I already know how to do this numerically with the DID Service Number field, but how do I make a name appear in the outgoing call display?

Thanks,
Jim

It depends on various things.

What type of trunks do you have?
What are you sending out right now? Nothing or you have the same caller name for all extensions?

enabling CPN substitution will send the department field as the name

**********************************************
What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

We have SIP. Right now when we dial out, the people we call see our main number.
How do we enable CPN substitution?

thanks
Jim
