We have a callcenter on a g3R10 and they want to limit all outbound calls for our sales agents with the execption of 911 and a few toll-free numbers. I understand how to restrict outbound on COR's but not sure how I am going to allow only a few select numbers. Any help would be greatly apprectiated.

thanks

Hello,

Set COR's Calling Party Restriction to 'tac-toll' or 'all-toll' and then in the Unrestricted Call List fields insert number '1'.

Do a "ch toll z" where z is the first digit of the numbers you wish to allow, put these numbers in the table that will appear and mark an x to 'Toll List' and 'UCL1' for every number. This way all the extensions that have the specific COR will not get blocked when they dial these numbers..

Petran,
Thanks, this is good info for Long Distance numbers. Is there a way to do this for local numbers as well? I want to block both local and LD except for a few numbers.

thanks

You can restrict all outbound calls in the COR then set up a <System list> and enter the numbers allowed into the list and then assign the list to the Station. This way the sales guys can select the number they need to use in the list. If they need to have the ability to add their own list then use the <personal> option.

Good luck.

Thanks, this works but is there a way to allow 911 call to go thru without having to put them on a system list? My feature access code is to dial out is '9' and I get waveoff tone as soon as I dial 9 even though it is set in the ARS as call type "svcl"

thanks again,
