My company has, for example a DID 555-1212. The internal extension for this DID would be 31212.

If I pickup a phone attached to our Definity and dial 9-555-1212, I get redirected to 31212 and the call never touches the outbound trunk.

Anyone know where this would be happening at? I've been through AAR, ARS and UDP tables over and over and I don't see any entries that would account for this.

I inherited this system and there is much I don't know.

Try the command LIST ARS DIGIT-CONVERSION.

The system uses the AAR or ARS Digit Conversion Table to change a dialed number for more efficient routing.

You will probabely have something like:

Matching Pattern: 5551212
Min: 7
Max: 8
Del: 3
Replacement: 3
Net: ext

Note: not sure if this is the config you have but you should at least have 5551212 in the Matching Pattern.

What will happen:
Each time you dial 555-1212 the system will delete the first 3 digits (555) and will replace them with a 3.
The new number is then used by the system to route the call.

If you do not want this, then you need to remove the line from the page (CHANGE ARS DIGIT 5551212).

Perfect, that's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much!
