Out of sequence mail

I have recieved an-email from one of our personnel with the following problem:

"Something that has just started to happen with increasing frequency (at least 3/4 times a day), I notice that the sort order under the " date received" column in my INBOX (sorted by decending order), keeps jumping out of order, ... any clues what is happening?"

Any help would be appreciated

Check the system time on your servers.

Thats not the problem, all users have a batch file at logon that syncronises the time with the server, the server time is fine

Unless you save the changes in the view you are using, when you switch between pages in Outlook, the default sort arrangement will reappear.
