Morning all

I've have a user running Outlook 98 on a windows 2000 machine, which is working perfectly except for the fact, he doesn't have the out of office option

I have tried doing a full reinstall and fresh install to no avail

Does anyone have any ideas

Cheers

Howdy:

In order to use the Out of Office Wizard, the system MUST be connected and running through Exchange Server.

Thanks Murray,

A slight omission on my part there, we are running exchange 5.5, and the user is on a desktop so therefore never running offline

Make sure that the add-in for Exchange Extensions property pages has been added.

TOOLS - OPTIONS - OTHER - ADVANCED OPTIONS - ADD-IN MANAGER

The add-in should be listed there and checked.

If it is missing make sure you have the file outex2.edf file in your C:\program files\Microsoft office\office\addins folder.

If the file is there but not listed in the add-in manager click INSTALL in the manager window and point to the file.
