I have a situation where I'm receiving a warning messages:
Warning: No Memory fo Streams (NSTRPAGES)

Netstat -m indicates that the system failed to allocate 1780604 2K buffers but the total configured streams memory (NSTRPAGES) was not exceeded.

I know that the pools in /etc/conf/pack/pack.d/str/space.c can be increased.
The pools in question are str_pool_size and mblk_pool_size.

My question is how should these sizes be increased? Is there a way to do it in scoadmin or can I just edit the file and increase the values?

Are you by chance running Samba? If so your problem is a streams 'leak' where SCO allocates a stream and never releases it. Increasing streams only delays the eventual hang-up. You have to remove Samba and resintall a patched version.

Thank you for your reply. I am not running Samba.
