I Have an access database with 17 MB and a lote of VBA code.
The Database works fine in my desktop computer (Pentium II 266 MHZ - 64 MB RAM - Windows NT) but when i copy the database to my portable computer (Pentium III 700 MHZ - 128 MB RAM - Windows 98) and try to edit or create a module, access returns an error "OUT OF MEMORY" and sometimes closes the access and other times don´t.
When i try with anoter db like Northwind for example the access let me do everything normaly without any error.

I apreciate and thanks in advance any help supplied.

I had the same problem and fixed it by increasing the virtual memory on my computer. It's accessible via System on the Control Panel.

That's all fine and great, but Windows 98 automatically resizes virtual memory as needed. I don't understand how doing this manually is going to help.

How much free hard disk space do you have on your PIII?
Are you running a lot of applications simultaneously?
In your application's code, are you opening a lot of objects and not closing them?
