Hello Everyone,

I am looking to out a number of Phones. We have been doing these in batches at a time and its taking some time to do manually. I was hoping there was a way to OUT a list of phones using their type and TN? Hoping somone call help.

Thanks,
Jason

you can do this in the web interface at least in 7.6.change the criteria to phone type, choose the type of phone and select what you want to delete. Then press delete and confirm. Bye bye phones.

Link Here is how it will kind of look like. Hope that helps

Thanks that does help. Now I just need to figure out how to get the web interface up. Always have done things through SSH.

If the TNs are consecutive and the same phone type then you can do
REQ: out 10 (or whatever number)
TYPE: 3904

Be careful though. It won't ask for confirmation.

What terminal emulation software do you use? Someone here may have a script that will work too.

Unfortunately they are not consecutive.

I dont use terminal emulation at the moment but open to suggestions.

So, mine is set to the IP address of sigserver1. So if you got your IP address of your sigserver, and if its enabled, meaning the WEB portion of it, you could try that in a web browser

what version are you on as the phones part was only introduced to element manager in later releases. Like Stanley keeps asking what do you use to SSH, I use Zoc so could knock up a simple script for that to out phones.

I am using Putty to SSH. I don't believe there is any scripting for it. Zoc has scripting capabilities ?

You can use PAS (PBX Administration Studio) with script m1delsets.
