Our Notes Server Died 2

Does anyone know what the following message means or how I can fix it? I know its a dodgy question, but our Notes server at work has died and this is the message we get.

Sounds like a memory error. Only come across this whilst running ARcServe backups. TRy getting the updates for ArcServe and seeing if that helps
 
Yes, this is a Notes "RIP" file. Notes generates one when it craches (usually). Be sure to rename these as Notes will keep appending to the file named "NOTES.RIP" found in your data directory.

To troubleshoot, open the file in Notepad or the such. As you scroll down, notice the right hand column. You can often see the names of databases that are open at the time. If you see one, it is a good idea to run Fixup (with -L to log) and then Updall -R on the database to check for and correct any corruption.

You both know your Notes...this problem was fixed the same day I posted the problem and the person who sorted it said that these two posts were spot on.
