otm2 loading parameters for ITG 1

Every time I try to load ITG parameters ie:vlan ip, management IP etc the OTM tells me the card is not dsbld, Ihave dsbld the card on the op81 in ld 32 and it stats dsbld
I have reloaded and reseated the ITG card many times and ini'd the op81
op81 is rlse 25.40 the otm is rls 2 and ITG2
it worked once but wont do it again
I can ping the itg and op81 and my laptop, I can telnet to the itg
any ideas would be appreciated

What type of ITG Line? Trunk?. One way to tell is in the ITG card does it come up with ITG> (itg trunk) or IPL> (itg line). Do you have ITG 2 trunk software on the ITG card. Do you have the MAC address correct in ITG trunk. I assume you are talking about itg trunk. Are you using Media Card single slot 32 port card or two card slot type of ITG. If single slot it is a strong arm. Dual card slot is a pentium. Big thing is the elan IP address and MAC address has to be correct. Send you email address and I will email you a copy of one that I have done. I have loaded more than 25 ITG applications and have not had alot of tbl doing them

I'm doing itg line ip 3 24 port I have checked and double checked my settings, it worked once but when I chgd the ip addresses it wont load

Try going to the serial input and doing a setLeader command with the new management IP address and then reboot the card and download transmit node and card properties to the new manangement address

I have run into the same issue with ITG Trunk. I would try as ukalary recommends. I cleared the leader and reset it a few times before it would work. ITG is very touchy.

unkalary....i'm having ITG TRk problem which I can have 2 conversations going and the network drops...I would be very much interested in your e-mail info on the one you have working.

When you go to change the node or card properties you have to disable the card in the swicth. Then before you upload the settings in the card you have to hit the refresh status button up on the top. The status of the card on the bottom window must say disabled. If you don't do this step the OTM still thinks it's in a enable state and won't let you upload. Even though you have disabled it in the swicth.

Hi,

The NTP says to use T21 to setLeader, i have logged in under the front port and the card says T20, anyone know how to change the card state to T21?
