I was trying to update a phone in OTM Station Manager and the application crashed (not suprising), but now I'm locked out of the record with a message to the effect of 'Record is locked by another user'.

I found a file ~Something~blah.LOK in the Common Data heirarchy, but even when I quit out of every OTM process I can, NT won't let me delete the file.

Am I going to have to reboot the machine to get rid of these locks or is there some better way to do it?

not that i have found, a reboot is your only option

The NT platform crashes pretty easy. That locked record error happened all the time for me and only a re-boot would clear it.You have to be patient when opening or closing windows so it can complete the task or--hose up will occur.I recently upgraded to OTM 2.1 which requires windows 2000 or above to run and it hasen't happened ...yet.I know what you mean though--it is very frustrating since this product is supposed to make admin chg's easier.

To add to this post .... i'm getting the same problems, however a reboot doesn't clear the problem, OTM still thinks that a client has the particular database file locked, even when theres no lock file !! I've been told its an ms access problem (nothing new there then) and have had to recreate the site.
