Hi Everyone,
I have a question about OTM.I have many users who are using OTM.And they made some NCOS changes without permission.I want to identify when the change was made, who made and when it happaned. Is it possible?
Thanks for replies...

Hi. You can go to the logs to see some of the changes - sort of. The Station Reconcile log will tell you when a TN was last changed [but not what changes were made]. If you can't view the log in OTM, open the log file in Windows Explorer with WordPad. This won't tell you who made the change, just when a change was made. If they made the change through Windows Station Admin, you can go to the Transmission log and maybe see who made changes on what dates [that's why you may need to go to a Reconcile log first to see what dates you need to look for]. Also, you can look in the Navigator at the Event Log Viewer to see which users are opening and using various OTM modules but the log size may limit what you can see [you can set it on the File menu in that window]. If the changes were made via OTM Web, the log file is the same as the Station Transmit log file. If you have cleared the log files since the changes were made, you're out of luck. Finally, you can go into OTM Web and massage each user's access rights to the point where NCOS is readonly or no access yet other features are accessible to the user. OTM Web's access rights choices are much more comprehensive than OTM Windows' choices. I hope this helps.
