OTM 1.2 and Opt 11 25.40 Going to Succession 3

OTM 1.2 Server currently supports this remote Opt 11C running 25.40....which will be upgraded w/i several weeks to Succession 3...any known problems supporting site using OTM 1.2 after Opt 11C is upgraded to Succession 3?

You will need to upgrade to OTM 2.1 the order codes are listed below:

NTTL25AE A0516460 OTM 1.2 or 2.X Upgrade to OTM 2.1 General
NTTL25BE A0516461 OTM 1.2 or 2.X Upgrade to OTM 2.1 Enhanced
NTTL25CE A0516462 OTM 1.2 or 2.X Upgrade to OTM 2.1 Premium

We will be upograding OTM but that was further down the orad. What functionality will we lose? Will there be problems?

When we upgraded our Opt11C to Succession 3.0 we lost all functionality. OTM 1.2 can't communicate with Succession 3.0. The cost of OTM is so cheap that you may as well do it at the same time.

1) If you have any IP line or IP trunk card on existing 11C and you are going to upgarde the system to Succ Rls 3 with Signalling Server, you will need OTM2.1 as minimum requirement.

2) If you are just upgarding the software to Rls 3.0 and don;t have any IP card, so you don;t need to upgarde the OTM at this time and you can keep on using old OTM. However, in my personal opinion, its suggested to go for OTM upgarde alongwith the system as cost is not too high and you can enjoy new feature and plateform support of OTM2.1.
