Otlook Express (Checking For Unsent Messages)

I Have Written a Program That Automatically Sends an Attachment Via Outlook Express.....Using The Basic MAPI Controls....
If The Email Fails To Send.... Then I Kneed To Automatically Check for Unsent Emails.... And Reactivate Outlook Express... In Order to Send Any Unsent Messages.

Is There a Simple Way to Get The Unsent Message Count..

I Am Using VB5

There isn't any way, simple or otherwise, AFAIK. It's possible with Outlook but not Express. OE doesn't have a programmable interface and the MAPIMessages control will only retrieve messages from the Inbox.
