I am running a G5 with 10.2.7 and during boot it will get to "Loading IP Firewall Extension" and then I just get a blue screen and the computer is unresponsive. Is there any utilities out there yet that you can use to boot a G5? Last I checked, Nortons stuff wouldn't boot a G5 (but that was a couple months ago) nor would disk warrior. I have already run the Disk Utility Repair Permissions and it didn't help any. Any ideas?

I would suggest booting into single-user mode and then troubleshooting from there. I'll try and post key stroke combinations for this in a bit.

What changes were made to the config. after the last successful boot to cause this?

How to boot into single-user mode.

1. Restart the computer (or turn it on if it's already off) while holding down the command and s keys at the same time
