OSX no longer sees InDesign files as InDesign files (now listed as ????).

I've already tried re-associating the files using the dropdown in the file info box, but when I try to make the assiciation global, it just won't do it (no error thrown).

InDesign can open the files after manually setting the association via File Info, but the file icon is still not applied (the files are also grayed out when using the InDesign Open menu).

These files are located on the computer's hard drive (not on a network share).

If you rename your files and gives them the extension".indd" Indesign will know them and they will have also the right icon.
