OSV V10 simplex to duplex migration

Hi community
I have an issue when trying to make migration from DB simplex to DB Duplex whit next message

Toolkit does not support interface change!

Can any one help me?

My method - Probably wrong but it will work - would be to download a REGEN and other information from the Simplex and make a new Duplex off site.

Many thank for your help but I'm meaning an openscape voice migration and regen is for openscape 4000
 
OK I understand - you are changing system from 4000 to OSV
 
OK - Maybe there is a recommended way

But - I would start a new Duplex install
and then go to site with the new processor and hard disks
Shutdown the existing simplex - install the new processor, cables and hard drives and start up systems.

You will need to generate an XML from the existing simplex
also generate a REGEN file and make note of the system settings for the assistant, stmix etc.

Also you will have to get licences but not immediately
 
sbcsu there is no 4K here. This is an OSV simplex to duplex migration.

I am no OSV expert but the OSV installation manual deals with simplex to duplex migration with specific steps and handling. Wolf-ACG are you following those steps? Because the manual is comprehensive and I would expect it to work. It sounds like you are missing something, but I don't know enough about it.
 
OK sorry about that - I was looking at it and seeing V10 - my mistake - good luck with upgrade !
