oslevel problem 1

Hi everybody,

I've got some problem with the oslevel command.
On a server in AIX 5.1 ML3, when I type oslevel, it never finished. The only way to cancel (ctrl C doesn't work) is to out it in background and then to kill the process.

Does someone have an idea about this problem?

Is /tmp full?

No /tmp was not full. I checked all this kind of problems....
Any other ideas?

run
lppchk -c
to look for corrupted filesets.
Not all the entrys in the output of this command are errors, but maybe you will find that there are importan files missing or changed.
