I am still in the beginning stages of Dreamweaver 2.0 and have done the tutorial. I like the possibilities the program offers but... sometimes I will add or change something and it doesn't do it! Even if I do a save as. so I try to save anyway. Close the program and start over again. Somethimes my changes show in Dreamweaver but not in the browser's preview. Is this normal? I save frequently and save as often. I am using a Mac g-4 with OS9 - are their conflicts with OS9?

OS9 conflict?

There are no conflicts with OS9 that I know of. I believe there is a patch for version 2. 2.0.2? I can recommend version 3 very highly. I have used everything out there, and it is by far the most reliable. Claris Homepage is the most stable, but lacks the features of GoLive & DW. GoLive looks really sweet, but crashes and generally performs slowly. DW3 is very responsive and there are 3rd party goodies such as Lasso Studio that extend its capabilities. The refreshing of the browser preview is probably just the browser using a cached copy. You should be able to use the reload or refresh button on the browser to see your changes. If that doesn't work, use the control key (Windows) or the Option key (Mac) to force it to reload.
