Can someone tell me where I can find out what Extended Base Directory Support is? or Extended NLS Support? I've tried searching the IBM websites with no luck. I can find out what install CD that they are on, and how much disk space they'll use, but I can't find out what they are for.

dear QUSER,
directory is referenced by IFS(u can get info by IFS,QSHELL,etc)
NLS means national language support and fortunately u may not have nothing with it because u use ccsid=37.
i am japanese and i use easily japanese and english on the same machine. this is the big advantage for as/400 against other platforms.
