Original Caller ID on transfer across PRI

We have an older Opt 61 transitioning to a Cisco call manager system. They are tied together with a PRI and all calls (including our operator) come in on the nortel. The problem is, the operator is fielding a lot of calls and transferring them to various cisco phones. The cisco users do not see the "original" caller id that was presented to the operator and only see "0". This causes some issues with hostile users and call screening. We do not have QSIG and we do have PIMG for vm but we are using the PRI for most of the call handling.

Is there a way to pass the original caller information in the d-channel? Or are we stuck?

what protocol are you using?
Not sure if NCRD in LD 16 will help or not.
When NCRD = YES, the message supplied provides information for the CLID display. When NCRD = (NO), the call is redirected without the CLID redirection information if CLID is enabled.

I tried NCRD YES and no change. Looking at dch messages I do not see any change there either. Just shows the calling calling # as the ext of the person transferring the call not the original caller id. Also no extra messages to indicate a transfer.

HI,

What happens when the operator transfers the call internally to a Nortel set. Does the set see "0" or the number of the caller BEFORE they answer? And what happens when the operator completes the transfer?

If Bill Gates had a nickel for every time Windows crashed... Oh wait, he does...

I have done an identical setup. Without QSIG, you're not getting caller id to come across.
