What is your version of Crystal, and are you using a stored procedure or query for your datasource?
Right click the chart, Chart Expert, Data tab, click the field to be ordered in the "Change of" window, and click the Order button. You can specify the order here.
Depending on your Crystal version, and datasource (i.e. stored procedures), you may or may not encounter a bug here where attempting to access Specified Order causes the application to hang. In this case, you will need to order your stored procedure accordingly, and have your chart order in original order.
