I'm in charge of our company's large organisational chart. This is currently being printed on a HP 800 Design Jet plotter on AO sized roll. I am having problems extending it, as it needs to be much much longer. Is this something that is governed by Visio or is it the printer? Sorry to ask something so simplistic but i'm tearing my hair out!

The Organisational chart needs to expand by probably 30% and try as i may i cant seem to get the page/paper setup to accept any size bigger than A0. the depth of the paper is fine - its the length of the paper that seems the problem - even though i have set it to 'roll' not sheet on the setup

just a thought, why not select all the objects group them into one shape then change the size of the grouped shape to fit the paper?

If a tree falls in the woods, and no one is there to see it, do all the other trees make fun of it?

Hmmm - see i thought that was going to work too, but apparently 'Organisation Chart shapes cannot be included in a group' so says the dialogue box! Think if i could get the drawing paper to be the same size as the printer paper it would help. Basically the chart that i have at the moment hold about 150 positions and i need to expand it to about 250 positions.

And in answer to your question - only if the tree was wearing a tutu and carrying a tennis racket!

hmmmm i'm not sure about the paper because i am not there to see it.(i'm not an expert! sorry)but if worse comes to worse you could scale every position. that'd take a long time but i think that is an option.

If a tree falls in the woods, and no one is there to see it, do all the other trees make fun of it?

Thanks for that - but wouldn't that just mean that it would 'hang off the paper'? its just so frustrating
