We are having an issue where the user enters an order and the system is populating ORORDHDR_Ord_dt with the incorrect date (the prior day), the order date fields in the OE screen is the current date and the problem is intermittant this ofcourse being my favorite type of problem...Has anyone had this issue or know of a solution...

I would check the TIME on the one machine and insure that it is not 12 hours off.
In other words. If the time is afternoon on the machine in question it would quickly appear to the user that first thing in the morning it would be fine on the date. I bet the date actually rolls over at noon.

Make sure that the local time zone is also correct. I have seen users change it to see what time it is in another part of the world and hit apply instead of cancel. Also if you have a routine that resets the local machine to the server time that could explain the intermintent nature. They only sometimes change the time but everytime they log off and then log in the startup script corrects the situation.Also make sure that their Outlook properties are not set to a visiting time zone

A lot of users will change the date on a machine to "back-date" a transaction, as Macola uses the workstation time as opposed to the server time for transaction entries. Most of them will forget to change it back.

The users is leaving the OE entry screen open ready to enter the next order. They leave for the day and do not exit macola. The date on the computer trips over to the next day. The OE trx entry program (OE101) does NOT re-read the computer date so it is still using the prior days date. This can also happen on the Billing program and probably others. The user must exist the OE program completely.
You can simulate by leaving the OE ORder entry screen (Add) and advancing the computer date up a day. The then key the next order, it will have yesterdays date. You may note that the date and the bottom of the macola screen (System manager) has changed.
