Hi...

I have a Timesheet form, that has a subform in it... The main form just has an employee ID, and Name at the top... when i click to the next record, it goes in order of employeeID, but I want it to go in order of Employee Name...

there is no order by in the properties for my code...

Employee ID: [EmployeeID] =[First Name]+IIf(IsNull([First Name]),""," "+[Last Name])

the ID number appears in front of the name... like i have above...

Any help on this would be great!! thanks!

What is the RecordSource property ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

Its "employees" from my employees table.

So create a saved query sorted by the Name fieldand use it as the RecordSource.
