oracle9i (win2k) and netbackup 4.5FP_6 Problem

Hi there,

I am having trouble with the netbackup client seeing the tablespaces, datafiles and archivelogs.

I am a member of the Oracle group and so I can login to the database without a password. When I login to the netbackup client it can see the database sids but nothing else and when I click on one it asks me for a username and password with the sysdba priviledge. I login using a account with that priviledge(other than sys) and I get a 12705 error.

I am really scratching my head here.

I have also tried changing the netbackup client service logon to my username but still nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is exactly like the link below except it is on a windows platform and not unix.

The solution for the unix problem was to edit the oratab file which does not exist on windows.
