When I backup Virtual Oracle servers the Virtual client I created does not show any savesets. It appears that the backups write all the saveset data to the physical name. I am concerned that I will not be able to restore.

Did you populate the correct file index or do the filenames go to the wrong file index? Please check.

The index field is blank. It seems to write the index entries to the physical server, which is defined in the remote access field of the virtual client.

Include into your RMAN script into the parms or send section
NSR_CLIENT=<virtualservername>,

Then the index for the Networker Virtual Client will be written to.

with kind regards,
