Oracle Res 3700 recommended version?

I understand that Res 3700 is no longer supported and no version higher than 5.7 MR8 will be released.

Does anyone know if Oracle defined what the latest recommended version is?

In your experience, which is the most stable version? According to what I have reviewed it would be 5.7 MR7 but I would like to hear other opinions based on your experience.

The highest productive version that I currently use is 5.7 MR6 but it does have several problems that, according to what I read in the documentation, are solved in MR7 and I am unsure whether to update to this version or at once to MR8.

if you have workstation 6 + idn printer do not update to MR8 maximum update to MR7

The most recommanded and stable version is 5.7 MR 8.

Thank you for your comments, they are very important to me. In our case we do not use the IDN port.
